Moustafa El Sirty and 17-year-old sensation Salma El Tayab overtook senior and more experienced French opponents at the Mushaf squash complex for an Egyptian double at the Chief of Staff-Serena Hotels-Combaxx Sports international squash tournament for men. & Women on Friday.

El Tayab had the most convincing victory as the third seed outscored second seed Marie Stephan 11-6, 12-10, 11-4 in 18 minutes with his precision and speed allowing him to get a scholarship of US $ 15,000.

El Sirty, the 20-year-old fourth seed, clinched a resounding victory over third seed Auguste Dussourd 9-11, 11-7, 11-6, 12-10 and won the men’s crown who wore a Price of US $ 30,000.

The quartet that made it to the final on Friday were among 21 foreign players from nine countries who took part in the event and all praised the hospitality offered by the country.

“Everything here… the venue, the organizers and the people were very nice,” El Sirty said. “I urge other players to come and play tournaments in Pakistan.”

Stephan told reporters she was happy with the security measures and “can’t wait to come back next year.”
