We have already revealed several of the 20 upcoming food and drink outlets in the multi-billion dirham development of Yas Bay, still under construction.

Confirmed for the Bay

Hunter and barrel

Australian steakhouse Hunter & Barrel, which recently opened a store in Dubai at Vida Emirates Hills, will provide a much-needed “dining spot” to the capital’s new leisure and entertainment district.

Here’s what What’s On had to say when they recently visited the Dubai site:

“The bar is cool and contemporary with a huge oak table. The dishes are plentiful at Hunter & Barrel and at very reasonable prices, with steak prices starting at 120 Dhs for a filet steak.

The Hunter’s Sharing Platter (150 Dhs) is filled with serious comfort food in the form of sticky and smoked chicken wings, lightly breaded shrimp, spicy squid and, our favorite, the three cheese dip, served warm and gooey with a serving of fresh pita bread for dipping.

Rob De Villiers, Managing Director Middle East of Seagrass BHG (the group responsible for Hunter & Barrel), said: “We are delighted to share our exceptional charcoal roast dishes and tender cuts of beef with residents and visitors. of Yas Island.

Rumors, facts and revelations: new bars and restaurants in Abu Dhabi

The Mecca of Cannes fine dining, Paradiso will also make its debut in the Bay. This United Arab Emirates outpost of the world-famous Mediterranean restaurant arrives bolstered by the support of the Michelin-approved double act of cooking from Nicole Rubi (the woman behind La Petite Maison de Nice) and chef Pierre Gagnaire (Fouquet’s).

Expect exquisite, understated luxury for interiors (and terrace, if applicable), pastel beige umbrellas, and a menu of cleverly tweaked Pan-Mediterranean freshness.

Regarding the ‘coming soon’ news, Julien Huel, Deputy Managing Director Strategy & Development, Groupe Barrière, declared: “Paradiso combines passion and freedom of taste. We are convinced that Nicole’s big ideas and Gagnaire’s classic twists, combined with simplicity and excellence, are exactly what today’s culinary world needs ”.

“The atmosphere and the menu are full of truth, full of life, and its chefs are the most simplistic, generous and passionate of adventurers”.
